I founded Higher Ground Technologies in 1998 in response to the growing need for cost effective, advanced computer services for businesses in our region. I have always had a God-given talent for solving problems and finding answers. I always strive to do the best job I can. I began working with computers at a very young age. For the tech savvy, my first computer was an 8080 (2mhz processor) with a single 5 1/4" floppy drive that could store an amazing 360KB of data. Things have certainly changed since then. I have always taken great interest in learning about new technology. Over the years, I have continually worked to develop and further my skill set though training, certifications, and hands on interaction. I attended college at Northeast State and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Computer Science concentrated in LAN/WAN networking.

Higher Ground is successful because we treat our clients as if they were our own company. This notion is what drives our team in building, protecting, and maintaining the IT infrastructure of our clients, no matter their size. Each member of our team makes decisions, interacts with clients, and works with this principle in mind. From the beginning, excellence has been a key principle of Higher Ground and it is the foundation in everything we do. I encourage thinking outside of the box.
